Cardington Cracker 4/12/11

9 miles 2600 feet.
After several months not running. This I hope is the slow road back to normality. Not surprisingly, I found it really hard going. It took me a lot longer to get round than last time I did this race. Walking was difficult for several days afterwards.

  1. Great to see you running and blogging again.

  2. Cheers Steve. I don't know how how long I can keep it up ;-)

  3. Good to hear from you again John! Just in time to get stuck into Christmas beers and eats!

word: puloryn (n.)the injury which can only be brought about by playing backetball with the kids.

  4. The Peris or 1/2 Peris is on my wishlist for 2012. If you fancy a recce day out in the hills sometime, just let me know.

  5. I'm going to try not to put too much weight on this Christmas. This time last year is when it all went wrong.
Puloryn and Backetball are words I can put to experiences of the last few months. I think it will help to put a name to the pain.

Steve, I know the route well and would happily show you round. But I fear you may end up waiting for me lots.
